This means that you will not only have to set up your home appropriately, but you will also have to get the word out. In many cases, an open house is where you will get the most offers. Somebody will walk through, fall in love, and in turn open up the negotiations. While this does not always happen, it is something that is common. If you are lucky, you will get an offer after your first open house and that will lead to a quick sale.
